The Mora “Rope Knife” has a sturdy serrated stainless steel blade, and is designed for cutting rope, twine, and could also be used by rescue personnel to cut through seat belts. The plastic handle features a guard in front and a hooked pommel in the back, for a more improved grip, and the handle is almost symmetrical, meaning that it would be equally comfortable when held with the blade edge facing up or down. The handle click-locks securely into the plastic sheath, and the sheath clips onto your belt. Mora knives are priced inexpensively but still have very high quality production values and could last you a lifetime if not abused (and even if they are abused, they still hold up surprisingly well).
